Registrations are now open for the 2018 Large-scale Solar Industry Forum, which is being held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in May.
Following a record-breaking year for renewable energy in 2017, 2018 promises to be another big year for the industry, and large-scale solar is leading the way.
With more than 20 large-scale solar projects currently under construction and a number of others scheduled to start soon, the solar industry is entering a period of unprecedented growth. And as the falling cost of solar has made it one of the cheapest kinds of energy generation, the future of the sector looks extremely bright.
All this activity makes the 2018 Large-scale Solar Industry Forum a timely opportunity for technical solar professionals to get together to share what they’ve learnt, hear about the latest developments in the sector and discuss the challenges and opportunities they currently face.
Sessions on grid connection, ancillary services, asset management, measurement and modelling, co-location and finance mean that there is something for everyone currently working in the technical side of the large-scale solar industry.
Tickets for last year’s event sold out well in advance, so it will be important to get in early to ensure your place.
The Large-scale Solar Industry Forum will be held on 15 May 2018 from 9.00am – 6.30pm at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Technical conference sessions during the day will be followed by networking drinks at the conclusion of formal proceedings.
